Music has a prominent place in the Church. If we consult Webster’s Dictionary for the precise meaning of worship, we may come across with many words such as, adore, esteem, reverence, homage etc. Yet defining true worship of our God proves more difficult because it is both an attitude and an act. It is an act of opening our heart to his love; surrendering of will to his purpose expressing our selfless and unflawed emotion of adoration of the magnificent King of Kings.

The Psalmist says “Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendour of His Holiness.”
